How to Apply for a Duplicate PAN Card Online
Through NSDL e-Gov:
- Visit the NSDL e-Gov website.
- Enter your PAN number.
- Provide your Aadhaar number (for individuals).
- Enter your date of birth in MM/YYYY format.
- Optionally, provide your GSTIN number.
- Read the declaration and check the box to proceed.
- Enter the CAPTCHA code for verification.
- Click 'Submit.'
- View your PAN card details.
- Choose to receive an OTP on your email ID, mobile number, or both.
- Click 'Generate OTP.'
- Enter the OTP and click 'Validate.'
- Your request for a duplicate PAN card will be processed.
Through UTIITSL Portal:
- Visit the UTIITSL website.
- Follow similar steps as on the NSDL portal.
How to Apply for a Duplicate PAN Card Offline
- Download the Form: Obtain the "Request for New PAN Card or/and Changes or Correction in PAN Data" form.
- Fill Out the Form: Complete the form in BLOCK letters using black ink.
- Provide PAN for Reference: Include your 10-digit PAN.
- Attach Photographs: Provide two passport-sized photographs (for individuals), ensuring your face is visible while signing.
- Submit the Form: Submit the form to the nearest NSDL facilitation center with payment, proof of address, proof of identity, and proof of PAN.
- Receive Acknowledgment: The facilitation center will issue an acknowledgment number.
- Track Status: Use the acknowledgment number to track your application status.
- Receive PAN Card: The reprinted PAN card will be dispatched within two weeks.
