EPF Claim Status
Employees can verify the status of their Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) withdrawal requests through various methods. With the implementation of the Universal Account Number (UAN), the process of withdrawing EPF funds has become more efficient and accessible online.
UAN Activation
Before initiating an EPF claim online, employees must activate their UAN through the EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation) portal.
Required Details for Checking EPF Claim Status
To check the status of their EPF claim, employees need the following:
- Company details
- Extension code (if applicable)
- Employer's EPF Regional Office
- Universal Account Number (UAN)
For more information, refer to related topics like UAN Registration, UAN Login, PF Balance Check, and PF Passbook.
How to Claim EPF Offline
There are two types of Composite Claim Forms based on Aadhaar seeding:
-
Composite Form - Aadhaar Seeding:
If your UAN is activated and Aadhaar and bank details are seeded in the UAN portal, use the Composite Claim Form (Aadhaar). Submit the form to the EPFO office without needing your employer’s signature. -
Composite Form - Non-Aadhaar Seeding:
If Aadhaar and bank details are not seeded, use the Composite Claim Form (Non-Aadhaar). Submit the form with your employer’s attestation to the EPFO office.
