Learn about climate finance and its role in climate action with CSE's online training course. Open to all, this six-day course covers global financial systems, UNFCCC policies, and funding for green technologies—no prior knowledge is required.
Climate finance has emerged as a crucial driver of climate action, and 2024 is poised to be its defining year. The Centre for Science and Environment’s (CSE) Climate Change Programme has been diligently tracking the evolving landscape of climate finance. As Observers in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), CSE provides invaluable insights to civil society regarding the ongoing negotiations aimed at setting new climate finance targets. Beyond the UNFCCC, our research into the global financial architecture has spotlighted critical issues such as the debt crisis and the high cost of capital for green technologies.
